Our History
Adaku Foundation Inc. started in 2021 after the passing of Mrs. Martha “Adaku” Azubuine on February 24, 2020. During her lifetime, she was a great humanitarian to the community; she used her little stipend to touch many lives.
Adaku’s continuous quest to help humanity allowed her to:
- Feed so many people in her community
- Empower many youths in the community
- Pay school fees (tuition) for underprivileged children
- Assist young families who need help in raising their children
- Lend money to empower women by helping them expand their business
Her legacy still echoes in the community and her death created a big vacuum that’s too big to be filled. During her lifetime, she made sure that those in need within the community were not left alone without basic necessities.
Her passion for helping humanity gave birth to Adaku Foundation Inc.. Her foundation has been and will be at the forefront in rural communities in Nigeria where government intervention in assisting the vulnerable people does not reach nor exist. Adaku Foundation Inc. will be the bridge to assist those identified in need of crisis.
